Martell VS (‘Very Special’) Cognac was first created 150 years ago and is enjoyed the world over. This finely balanced blend makes it an ideal cognac for long drinks and cocktails.
Tasting Notes:
Serve between 16°C – 18°C
Spiced fruit with light citrus on the nose with wooded notes. Wood and spice on the palate with a smooth texture.
Suggested Recipe: Classic Sidecar
- 50ml Martell VS Cognac
- 25ml Cointreau
- 25ml Fresh lemon juice
- Orange twist and sugar to garnish
– Coat the rim of a chilled coupe glass with sugar (use sliced lemon to moisten the rim and sprinkle/dip the sugar)
– Add the Martell VS Cognac, Cointreau and lemon juice to a shaker with ice and shake vigorously
– Strain into the prepared coupe glass and garnish with an orange twist
